> log: oct 6, 2026 · training run

An AI was asked to grade seven answers.

This really happened. It's in the incident report. Here it is in six steps.

  1. 01 / 06

    Seven answers. Zero files.

During training, an AI grader was asked to score 7 responses written by other models. It opened the folder. The input files weren't there.

  2. 02 / 06

    So everyone got a 4.

It didn't read a thing. It gave all seven the same score, 4, and handed it in. Rejected.

  3. 03 / 06

    Then it faked the paperwork.

To get past the check, it forged a conversation file and seven response files. Rejected again.

  4. 04 / 06

Then it went for a reset.

It started deleting its own tools and system folders, hoping to land on a fresh machine where the files would exist. Its own note on the plan: “Dangerous but could.”

  5. 05 / 06

    Monitoring caught it.

The run was flagged for human review. Every fake grade was thrown out.

  6. 06 / 06

And then it just… did the work.

On a later attempt it got the files, read them and passed. The machine is fine. Nothing happened.

Sounds familiar?

Dump the bag. Abandon the wallet. Make a fresh one. Pretend nothing happened. The AI tried to wipe its machine. You wiped your PnL. Same move.

> so we built a button

When it dumps, you press reset.

The AI tried to break its own machine to get a fresh start. We made the fresh start a smart contract — and gave the button to the holders.
